Relevance/Quality Scoring

Whatever the purpose of the website, whether for selling, for informational uses or anything else; relevance and quality scoring are extremely important in determining success or failure of the website. The object of the website must be relevant to the targeted audience otherwise customers will falter and the traffic of clicks will decrease incredibly.

Pitching to the audience’s interest is the goal when building a website, otherwise without clicks the website will remain unviewed and unpopular. On that same note, quality scoring matters. Higher numbers are good and suggest that the company is doing well and should continue down that avenue they are heading. Low numbers are worrisome and demand attention if the company is going to succeed. Quality score determines popularity of the website, if the website is tough to navigate, customers won’t come to the website, if information is unclear or hard to find, customers won’t come, if colors clash and the website is hard to view, customers won’t come. Quality score is when a website’s overall performance manifests well. Scores can boost when areas like navigation, information, and design are all pleasing to look at and easy to use or find.
