Catching Purple

 It was interesting to learn about the different legal structures for businesses. There are four different structures: sole proprietorship, run solely by one person; corporations, run by a group of people working together, partnership, where two businesses work together for a similar goal; and LLC/limited liability company that will combine with either a sole proprietorship or partnership. For each state, different regulations mandate whether or not a license is needed and those rules fluctuate depending on location. For Utah any business where items are sold demands a license be registered for the company to operate. Affiliate online businesses are a type of sole proprietorship and this is the form of business I will be operating. From state to state there are different tax laws that must be adhered to and forms to be filled. The current tax rate for Lehi Utah, where I am from is %7.25, while Utah as a whole is %4.85.

Creating a button, whether that was a subscription, shopping cart, or buying dropdown button was frustrating and confusing. It was difficult to see how some of the selection options were relevant to my website design I plan on making. It was definitely a struggle. Having the link is a good resource to have for generating a business. When done with help the process is probably simple and done quickly, but alone it is a task that is infuriating.  I hope that future task won’t be difficult to understand and accomplish and will be clear and to the point. As I was doing the create a button assignment, it just was confusing to see the relevance in some of the options. I’m not sure why a drop down option is a thing, or the monthly cost as a member.  Subscriptions, shopping carts, and buy now's are all super, super good to have on a website. When choosing a website hosting option, there are a few things to look for. Knowing the cost of the domain, adwords credit, support system, and monthly charge, are all good to be aware of. There are lots of hosting website options and another way to narrow down which hosting website works best for you is to note how many stars it has and what the reviews say. If it is difficult to navigate a website with the hosting website chosen, then that is a factor that will derail being efficient in that website. A hosting website that is easy to use, has a reliable support system, free(or affordable) domain, affordable monthly charge, and good amount of adwords credit all make running the business online worthwhile and easier to earn a profit with. Affiliate and dropshipping are both forms of online businesses. Affiliates advertise other people’s products and inventory and get money from doing that, while dropshipping is selling other businesses' products under your brand name. Both affiliate and dropshipping have pros and cons to them. Deciding how to run your business depends on how much time, money, and energy as well as space available. Dropshipping could have issues with angry customers with products they find something wrong with and plant the blame on your brand name. Affiliates wouldn’t deal as much with dissatisfied customers since your brand name isn’t stamped over the products.
